We challenge the norm by combining design, inclusion and sustainability

Our design is bold and striking

Designing simple and functional products is complex. The complexity resides not only in our desire to make great looking products but also to make them practical.

You see it, you recognise it. Our design is bold, challenging the old and tired rectangular box. But there is a purpose behind it. First, we thought of the experience. It is not pleasant to open a squeezed box, full of plasters falling out all at once, detaching one while tearing the others and eventually get to the objective: putting on a plaster. The triangular shape of the box allows a single-hand usage of it, easy to find in a bag without having to look for it.

Finally, we believe Robert L. Peters’ quote truly describes our mindset: “Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future”. We believe in designing sustainable products adapted to a diverse society.

“Design creates culture. Culture shapes values.
Values determine the future”

It’s all about inclusion

While Nebe, Teint’s founder, was walking around the aisle of a Stockholm supermarket, she realised a simple thing. Our modern society does not have modern products. Innovation is not only about software and technology, it’s about challenging the status quo of “how things have been done so far”.

Our society is diverse. Diverse by its gender, age, sexual orientations and so much more. We need to cater for everybody’s needs and make sure no one is left out. As simple as having skin tone adapted plasters with a re-thought packaging. We love to make products that make you say “why didn’t I think of that before”.

“We believe that sustainability is the ability to build a society where products are designed to meet everybody’s needs”

Sustainable and
re-usable

Sustainability is often defined as “meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. At Teint, we have added an extra sentence “and the ability to build a society where products are designed to meet everybody’s needs”.

Not only are we designing exceptional products, but we also use eco-friendly materials. Today, all our boxes are made out of recyclable paper. But it doesn’t stop there, we also wanted to design a re-usable product to minimise paper consumption. All our dispensers can be refilled, that way, you save money and you do something good for the enviornment!
